All children have yearly assessments with the agency before submitting to you for castings and bookings. We only put forward children that are suitable for your casting requirements.
We look after all the children on our books, never undermining our children and their welfare, which is of the utmost importance. All children under the age of 16 will need a Performance Licence to take part in Modeling, TV and Theatre work.
Applying for Licence: What next?
The Children and Young Persons Act requires that all children under the age of 16 apply for a Licence to take part in performance related work of any nature. Alphabet Kidz hold on file all the relevant documentation required for all the children currently represented by us and will be happy to help you obtain these licenses in any way we can. Most local boroughs require 7 clear working days to apply and issue a Licence, but we do work with friendly boroughs that can turn around a Licence a lot quicker.
Clients Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to apply for the Performance Licence when booking a child for a job, but should you wish the agency to apply on your behalf, please do not hesitate to ask when making a booking and we will be happy to do this for you.
Client’s must fill in and sign Part I (attached) and fax or email to the agency at the time of confirming a child for a booking. The parents will fill in a Part II and these two with the child’s Medical Note from their GP, a copy of their Birth Certificate, a note from the School authorising time off and two passport photos will be sent to the child’s local Education Welfare Officer for processing (always check their time deadlines for processing in time).
